At Lake Forest, missions is not a ministry or program of the church, it is the core of our existence. As devoted and maturing followers of Jesus, we believe God allows us the great privilege of being His witnesses of grace, mercy, justice, and love to a hurting world.
At Lake Forest we are not called to ‘build up the church’ or ‘get people busy serving the church.’ We believe our highest purpose is to be authentic, compelling expressions of Gods love for his people and creation in order to woo or love people into an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ, and into missionaries of God’s love to their culture, and to cultures around the world.
