Piedras Negras Team #2

We just finished up our reflection meeting for the night. We talked about what we are giving and receiving on this mission. We have spent the last two days getting to know each other as a group. We had the great luck of meeting Team #1 in the airport. Bob lead us in prayer in appreciation of the mission and accomplishment for Team #1 and to welcome in Team #2. We are anxious to meet our family that we will be serving. Some of our group already met them and they are so excited that they were able to help us by moving the blocks to the concrete slab. We are thankful that we will be receiving as well as giving this week.

Our first team dinner in San Antonio! We were happy to have Vaughn and Bryanna from Team #1 (especially me for those of you who do not know me that is my husband and daughter!) to help us get situated.

Piedras Negras Team #2

We had our final team meeting last Sunday after last service. We are excited and anxious for our trip that will begin next Saturday. Our team will be meeting at the airport and ready to go on this amazing journey. For those of you that would still like to contribute to our mission, you can do so by putting your donation in the orange envelopes that were handed out again last Sunday or you can mail your donation to the church address on the home page of our website www.lakeforest.org. We mainly discussed safety and how to pack for our trip to Mexico, however Michael Flake is also sending us devotionals to do to prepare us spiritually. Some of us (Mark) are trying to be the teacher's pet by doing the homework early. :) Please keep our team and the family we will be serving in your prayers. We will try to keep you posted along the way and send some photos as well. Thank you all for everything you are doing for our team financially and spiritually.
